Does this sequel deliver? Once again, Plankton is on a mission to steal the Krabby Patty formula, but what this film is able to do, is distance itself from the other versions of this story and bring character bonding moments to an all new high for these characters. Not only is this film laugh- out- loud funny, but it also has just the right amount of heart to make a family film great. The film does however lose points for feeling a tad stale in the overall story, because even though it feels fresh while watching it, you can't help but roll your eyes a few times. This film pays homage to the classic episode of the show, and it does so in style. This is pretty much everything a Spongebob movie needs to be, even though it could use a better story.
